About Me . . .
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who provides individual and family therapy services. My goal is to create an environment that is comfortable, casual, and non-judgmental where clients feel safe to share their story. I work with my clients to address a wide variety of issues using a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused to name a few.
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Simpson College. I also serve as an Adjunct Faculty Member for Simpson College.
I have a particular interest in:
-
Individual Therapy: Depression, anxiety, grief and loss issues, life change stressors, and work related stressors
